CORONA is not a laughing matter – The lighter side – 16

CORONA is not a laughing matter – The lighter side – 16
Today, April 22, is 29th day of lockdown. We have reached a figure of about 20,000 of positive cases and about 650 deaths in fighting the corona virus. It is a matter of concern. The process of easing of the restrictions in a cautious way by the authorities is on with mixed results and reactions. There is no easy way-out. We all, both the authorities and the people need to be alert and responsive.
The side effects of the fight against the deadly virus are equally lethal – communal rhetoric and violence against the frontline warriors. Let us stand against the menace, if we are serious to save
ourselves. My nephew Dr. Mohit Chander, my sister Lakshmi's son, who is a frontline warrior in the fight said in a positive entry in his Facebook account today:

It is a matter of satisfaction that GOI has taken a strong stand against the mindless violence against the doctors, paramedical staff and others fighting the virus at the risk of their own lives by bringing an Ordinance deal with the fringe elements indulging in lawlessness due one reason or the other. On the second that is to stop the communal deterioration, I think there is nothing much to be done except just stopping the mindless and avoidable debates and panel discussions on these sensitive matters. This virus will automatically vanish. Somebody has shared in the social media:

One of my poet friends Sonia Rai wrote in the Facebook:

Enough – now let us come to the lighter side of the virus and resultant situation. There is enough to share to kill the boredom of lockdown. The tipplers are really at loss to understand what to do.
The social distancing is well explained by a truck driver held up on the way:
Keep Distance!
Husbands confined at home and working from home have a different dilemma:
That is all for today. As usual here is poetic input by intellectuals sitting at home but delivering to salvage the situation in their own way. One of my senior friends, Prof. Jagdish Joshi sent me his latest nazam which I share here:
