But the points of arguments in the 'JAN-LOKPAL BILL' should not be ignored in total before sending it to the parliament for a debate. All the points, whether write or wrong, should be placed before the parliament and after the debate as per the constitutional procedure, changes can be incorporated and a powerful law against the corruption can be made acceptable to all. Removing its power before starting the process, is creating all the confusion as to why the party in power do not want to create an effective Lok-Pal Bill.Raj Pal Singhnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4192205445348368790.post-44602789116416771082011-08-21T08:49:03.855+03:002011-08-21T08:49:03.855+03:00i think the whole issue is being confused. everybo...i think the whole issue is being confused. everybody is supportive of anna in the issue of corruption. government is under pressure and rightly so. it is willing to consider further inputs and suggestion to have a strong and effective lokpal. what is the difference ? anna and the so called civil society is adament to dictate that their jan lokpal bill is the only answer. it is not correct to have that line. secondly, the system and the constitutional processor shall prevail. anna cannot make and have the bill while sitting on the road. it is easy to make a noics but difficult to sit and deliver. they talk of the public opinion. yest it is important. but who will and where and how the public opinion shall find its utterence ? the answer is parliament. anna and his team shall understand this. there is no provision of refreendum in the constitution. the constitution could be amended. but for that also there is procedure. it can cannot be done from jantar mantar, rmaloila ground or tihar. this only difference which everybody shall undersatnd.ramesh chanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03980859691123019970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4192205445348368790.post-46734481872712059022011-08-20T10:36:35.604+03:002011-08-20T10:36:35.604+03:00DESPITE SUCH A HUGE PEACEFUL AGITATION BY THE PUBL...DESPITE SUCH A HUGE PEACEFUL AGITATION BY THE PUBLIC IN SUPPORT OF ANNA HAZARE, THE GOVERNMENT STILL SEEMS TO BE RELUCTANT TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT THE JAN-LOKPAL BILL SHOULD BE ACCEPTED FOR A DEBATE IN THE PARLIAMENT. THE DEMAND OF THE PUBLIC NEEDS ATTENTION OF ALL THE REPRESENTATIVES IN THE PARLIAMENT, BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN SENT BY THIS PUBLIC ONLY. I AM CONFUSED AS TO WHY THE GOVT. IS APPLYING ITS FULL STRENGTH TO IGNORE SUCH A JUSTIFIED DEMAND OF MAKING AN EFFECTIVE RULE AGAINST CORRUPTION.Raj Pal Singhnoreply@blogger.com
